In a top-10 showdown, the eighth-ranked Miami Dade College Men's Soccer Team delivered a statement win, defeating No. 10 Monroe College 2–0 behind a dominant second-half performance at home.
The Sharks leaned on a standout defensive effort and timely goals, holding the Mustangs scoreless despite Monroe firing 16 shots and placing nine on frame. Goalkeeper Samuel Cavo was superb, recording seven saves and commanding the back line for the clean sheet.
After a tense first half ended scoreless, Miami Dade broke through in the 56th minute when Edoardo Duchini found space inside the box and slotted home the opening goal unassisted. The Sharks doubled their advantage in the 78th minute as Nicolo Liburdi buried his first goal of the season off a clever assist from Eduardo Cornejo, sealing the win.
