THE SHARKS DO IT AGAIN!!

In a massive upset, Miami Dade College Sharks handed the #1 ranked Eastern Florida State College Titans their first defeat of the season, securing a 2-0 victory.

The game remained scoreless through the first half, with both teams displaying strong defensive play. Miami Dade's goalkeeper, Samuel Cavo, made two crucial saves to keep the Titans off the scoreboard, while Eastern Florida's goalkeeper Yuta Hirano turned away three shots to prevent the Sharks from gaining an early lead.

The breakthrough came early in the second half, as Miami Dade's Edoardo Duchini scored the game's first goal in the 53rd minute with a perfectly placed strike, putting the Sharks up 1-0. Just two minutes later, Facundo Ochoa doubled the lead with another unassisted effort, sending in his 8th goal of the year past Hirano to make it 2-0.

Despite being outshot 7-5, Eastern Florida State struggled to find any offensive rhythm, with only two shots on goal. Miami Dade's defense, led by Colazo and solid play from the midfield, held strong throughout the game, limiting the Titans' chances and preserving the clean sheet.

Hirano finished with five saves for the Titans, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Sharks' second-half surge. Cavo, meanwhile, recorded two saves and earned the shutout for Miami Dade.

This victory is a huge statement for Miami Dade as they have now taken down the #1 ranked team in the country twice, with Monroe University being the other top-ranked opponent they defeated earlier in the season.
