Bio

The Miami Dade Sharks welcome Isabella Villino as the newest assistant coach for the Sharks volleyball program. A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Villino brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience at the elite club, high school, and professional levels.

Villino most recently served with Miami Volleyball Academy, where she worked as assistant coach for top 14U and 17U teams under Coach Andres, while leading multiple state and national squads as head coach, including the 15U Isabella National Team. Her leadership and player development skills earned her the 2025 Assistant Coach of the Year award. She also coached at Doral Academy, guiding the Beach Volleyball Team as head coach and assisting the junior varsity indoor program. Prior roles include head coaching positions at NMB Volleyball Academy and 305 Volleyball Club.

As a player, Villino’s résumé is equally impressive. She competed professionally in Venezuela’s Liga Venezolana de Voleibol with DANZ (Deportivo Anzoátegui), capturing a championship in 2019 after a runner-up finish in 2018. A member of the Venezuelan National Team from 2018–2019, she also represented her state for five years in national competitions, serving as team captain for two seasons while collecting three gold medals and two bronze medals. Internationally, she attended a high-performance camp in Trento, Italy, earning Best Player honors in consecutive weeks.

Villino holds SafeSport and CPR/AED certifications, along with a Gold Medal Squared Coaching Certification. Her passion for the game, combined with her diverse experience as both player and coach, positions her as a valuable addition to the Sharks’ coaching staff.
