Clayton State Lands Defensive Standout

After two outstanding seasons anchoring the Miami Dade College back line, Agustin Bezara is taking the next step in his collegiate career, transferring to Clayton State University. A commanding defender with exceptional composure and leadership, Bezara established himself as one of the Sharks' most reliable players while helping set the standard on the defensive end.

Over the course of his career, Bezara appeared in 36 matches, earning 29 starts and becoming a fixture in Miami Dade's defensive unit. While his contributions didn't always appear on the scoresheet, his impact was undeniable. His ability to organize the back line, win aerial battles, shut down opposing attackers, and remain composed under pressure made him an invaluable piece of the Sharks' success.

Known for his physicality, positioning, and consistency, Bezara provided stability every time he stepped onto the pitch. His defensive awareness and ability to read the game allowed Miami Dade to play with confidence from the back, while his work ethic and competitive mentality earned the respect of teammates and coaches alike.

Now, Bezara will continue his collegiate career at Clayton State University, where he'll bring experience, toughness, and a defensive-first mindset to the Lakers.
