Caroline Mito, Softball

Caroline Mito put together a dominant week for Miami Dade, earning Athlete of the Week honors after hitting an incredible .813 (13-for-16) across six games. The Sharks’ shortstop scored 11 runs, tallied nine RBI, and added four doubles, a triple, and five stolen bases.

Mito recorded a hit in every game and closed the week with five straight multi-hit performances, highlighted by a 3-for-3 showing against St. Petersburg—finishing a home run shy of the cycle—and a perfect 5-for-5, six-RBI doubleheader against Hillsborough.
